Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 30,000 + Bonus & Benefits

A large, leading Department Store is keen to hire an Assistant Manager to help run the Store across multiple floors and product categories including Menswear, Ladieswear, Children's wear and Fragrance and Beauty divisions. You will be in charge of contributing towards the management and development of the Store, maintaining the image of the brands represented and delivering on revenue and customer service targets. Additionally your remit will also include:

- Manage, lead and motivate a large team of over 100 people. Ensure their success and development within the business.
- Assist with and implement the Annual plan, monitor performance and respond to any changes needed.
- Control a number of divisions within the business including store operations, administration and finance. Ensure the performance of all areas.
- Build and develop strong relationships with internal business partners and external brand suppliers housed within the Department Store. Always look to improve the brand and product mix depending on current trends and international standards.
- Ensure effective use of store space versus product density.
- Work closely with PR, Events and Marketing on strategies to boost brand image and sales.
- Ensure exceptional standards of merchandise display, presentation, store style and ethos are maintained and high standards of customer service are provided.
- Manage the training and development of staff in order to achieve both theirs and the Stores full potential.
- Strive towards maximising operational efficiency.
- Provide detailed business reports and analysis to Senior Management on business progress, opportunities and developments.

Requirements

In order to qualify, you must have proven demonstrable success leading a large scale retail operation, preferably from a Department Store background. You must have exceptional knowledge across retail disciplines, be very commercially focused, and have in-depth knowledge of the industry. Specialized project management skills along with natural leadership skills typically gained over 10 years + are also a must. Excellent communications kills in English, Arabic a plus.
