AFGRE is responsible for the origination, conception, development, procurement and construction of mega projects and the leasing, sales and operation of these projects after completion.

About Dubai Festival City

Dubai Festival City is an Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate development project which covers 5.2 million sq m and stretches 3 kilometres along the historic Dubai Creek that optimises the thriving and visionary spirit of Dubai.

Dubai Festival City is an established creek side, mixed use destination and premier waterfront community interconnecting finest residential, shopping, dining, leisure & entertainment, international hotels, schools, golf course, automotive park and offices. It is formed into three distinct districts and connected by a 30 kilometers internal road network and creek side promenade. This existing community offers freehold villas and apartments for sale and lease which combine traditional and contemporary architecture. Upon completion, the community will be home to 50,000 residents living in 20,000 villas and apartments, and ideal place to work for 50,000 office staff.

JOB PURPOSE:

To assume responsibility and ensure the efficient operation and delivery of technical MEP and civil services to DFC infrastructure. Including, sub soil service lines, TSE service lines, value operations, traffic management systems, street light management, path and roadway management, utility maintenance management and repairs.
Gas farm management and fire alarm and fire fighting experience.
Drive the resolution of insurance claims within DFC infrastructure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Works Management:
Management of planned, reactive and incidental works delivery for all MEP works, housekeeping, waste management and pest control. Scheduled jobs; ensuring compliance to set standards and carrying out regular inspection, with the objective of enforcing adherence to safety standards.
All site office locations in DFC are operating as per expectation and service level agreements.
All site office locations in DFC are maintained and furnished as per the leasing agreement and maintained as per the SLA.
Ensure utility reading is gathered maintained and submitted in to the system on time.
Contract Management:
Ensure all contracted work is carried out in accordance to the contract.
Time lines are adhered to and identify any issues which may affect the performance and closure of the works.
Supply Chain Management:
Daily management of sub-contractors, consumables. Responsible for implementation and monitoring of sub-contractor performance. Ensure best value management techniques with in contracts.
Manage service providers on rental equipment, (such as Generators, ablution units temporary offices) to gain the best value and service to the company.
Service Standards:
Implements expected service standards towards the service providers and sub contractors.
Ensure all work is carried out with the correct H&S standards throughout DFC.
All PPE is in place for all service providers on site.
Raise any work related issue immediately so as not to affect to productivity of the work.
Housekeeping and Security Management:
Observe and highlight the cleanliness for the DFC infrastructure.
Ensure all service providers work in accordance to the expected cleanliness and good housekeeping within DFC.
Ensure all perimeter fencing is intact at all time making recommendations for repairs.
Work closely with the security service provider to ensure DFC security is at it most efficient at all time.
Coordination:
Co-ordination with Local Authorities: Coordinate with Police, Civil Defense, and Dubai Municipality & City management for site wide requirement.
Coordination with Development: Coordinate with development team for the ongoing construction cleaning, pest controlling & Security Management.
Reporting:
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to operations of mall and taking necessary action thereof. Prepare monthly financial analysis for operations for the Retail Operation monthly report.
Energy Management:
Drive improvement in water and electricity saving initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* University Graduate in electrical or Mechanical discipline.

Minimum Experience:

* 5-7 years relevant experience in electrical or Mechanical services within the infrastructure field.
