The Role


The Role


To ensure the efficient and effective collection, processing, analyzing and reporting of financial data. To provide accurate and timely feed-back to the Finance Manager - Middle East and the Middle East Management Team that will enable them to take informed and objective, operational decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

- Provide effective leadership for MIS accounts team ensure their development and continuous performance improvement.
- Timely and accurate monthly reporting of accounts.
- Liaise with other outstation offices of the Middle East Region to obtain information as necessary for correct compiling of the books of account and reporting of the same.
- Assist Finance Manager- Middle East in preparation & formulation of financial forecasts and annual budgets for submission / approval to management.
- Provide accurate and timely invoicing of services given to customers, ensure timely payment.
- Ensure recovery of outstanding payments from clients is executed within desired time limits, keeping debtors outstanding days within agreed KPI's.
- Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and a proper system in place for the approval and payment of the same as per the company policy and agreed terms with the vendors.
- Ensure Central Office is aware of all Insurance claims of the region.
- Regular assessment and analysis of Risk assumed in various regional contracts and ensure Central Office arranges suitable cover.
- Liaise with Central Office for maintenance, timely and economic renewal of all insurance policies related to the region.
- Monitoring control, validation, renewal and release as required of various guarantees, LC, bid bonds etc.
- Ensure timely payment of government dues including but not limited to Advance Tax / Income Tax / Corporate Tax / GST etc.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide them with all schedules and information as required for successful finalization of annual audit and annual audited financial statements.
- Develop initiatives that improve business development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Chartered Accountant
- At least 5 years experience as accountant in MNC
- Experience in handling full set of accounts and consolidation
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Experience working in related industry is preferable
