The Role


The Role


This is a world renowned luxury hotel brand, who have recently expanded their portfolio with a stunning new property on the Palm Island, Dubai. They are looking for a Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance department. The Assistant will assist the Controller in compiling timely and accurate financial management reports, as required by the corporate office and the owners. Also, the Assistant Controller must assume responsibility for the management of the Accounting, Purchasing, and MIS departments as designated in the departmental reporting flow chart and in the Controller's absence.
The Assistant Controller must assist the Controller in order to ensure that proper internal controls are in place. Also, the Assistant Controller must play a role in the development of the accounting staff including hiring, training, cross training, and development in order to meet the Residence's and the Company's human resources needs.

Requirements


You should have experience of working in the finance department at assistant / controller level with a 5* hotel brand, and working experience in the GCC will be an advantage.
