Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Under direction of a Financial Controller, performs professional accounting work, including auditing, analysing and verifying fiscal records and reports, preparing financial and statistical reports.
Prepare year-end Audit reports and schedules.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for financial results, closely monitoring operational/performance milestones and metrics, while insuring the accuracy of financial reporting and the integrity of the financial reporting environment.
Manage the consolidation and preparation of the balance sheet including related financial information and analysis on monthly basis.
Audits accounts and other financial information for completeness, accuracy and legitimacy of charges, and conformance with accounting procedures/Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Supports Shared Services environment
Develops and recommends revisions to accounting systems, policies and accounting procedures in conformance with accepted accounting principles.
Actively participates in the company quality improvement process.
Prepares annual financial statements.
Prepares weekly cash flow projections.
Completes a detailed analysis of account balances.
Analyses the effects of transactions on account relationships
Travels to field offices/sites to conduct audits or to assist field personnel in the execution of their duties

Requirements

Ideal Candidate:
Bachelors Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics Required, with a recognised professional accounting qualification CPA’s, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. MBA in Finance / Accounting / Economics Preferred.

Specific Skills Required:
Experience with accounting software Oracle. Accpac (preferred)
Development of working relationship at all levels of the business.
Proficiency in PC related software especially MS office.
Auditing Practising and Procedures.
Excellent leadership skills
Time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skill (both verbal and written)
Problem solving/lateral thinking skills.

Experience:
7 + years of related work experience within Middle East/ UAE. Consulting industry desirable.
