We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and talented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to assist the Director of Food and Beverage in supervising and coordinating all aspects of the Food and Beverage Operation. With a team of 8 direct reports you will also have responsibility for 90 colleagues.
This role will include a mix of financial, operational and administrative duties.
You will be expected to maximise profitability and revenue by setting targets to meet budgets, participate in preparing the performance plan and annual budget, monitor and take corrective action to reduce waste and breakage and prepare and analyse monthly reports.
You will also ensure that standard operating procedures are consistently adhered to and that the service and kitchen areas are kept to the highest cleanliness and health and safety standard as well as assisting the Outlet Managers in the planning and implementation of activities in order to achieve maximum revenues.
Qualified ideally to Degree level in Hospitality, you must be able to demonstrate at least two years experience of working in a first class property which contains multi food and beverage outlets and will be a mix of bars and fine dining restaurants. You will also be very comfortable working with high volume.
You will be commercially aware and a very strong communicator. This role requires a leader and not just a Manager as we are seeking an ambitious and inspirational individual who will ensure that the customers not only receive the highest service but also that the colleagues are kept motivated.
A very good command, verbally and written, of the English language is essential as is experience of working in and managing a multicultural team.
