Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading supplier in Automotive parts, Filtration Solutions, and Oilfield Supplies. It has a solid presence in the Saudi Arabian market and has been serving the oil and gas sector, transport, construction, agriculture and industrial markets through several business units which provide high quality products. They have a nationwide distribution network, spare parts range, product knowledge and can-do attitude that ensure complete support to customers from the planning stage through installation and after sales services.

They are looking for an Assistant General Manager who shall report to the Business Unit General Manager. He shall direct the entire operation and management of the Company's Oil/Gas field services with regard to overall business development, building external relationships with key players within the oilfield services industry. He shall be managing the team by providing them with strategic direction, budgetary control and generic coordination of all the functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select market opportunities in the field of oil & gas industrial sector for the sales & services of equipment/parts in align with company’s business goals.
• Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions & recommendations
• Develop sales plan and strategy to strengthen client base, and increasing reputation with the oil/gas service industry clients.
• Prepare plans and programs for the sales/marketing team and set target for attainment of objectives set forth by the company
• Monitor the sales performance and give guidance & take corrective measures in order to make sure that the sales target are being achieved.
• Manage and meet expected target growth rate
• Develop relationships with new principal/industry groups and introduce new products
• Direct company’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
• Direct staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties to functional managers
• Monitor overall operational expenses; taking corrective actions to rectify variances.
• Assist the management in any other duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical plus MBA in Marketing with minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas parts trading
• Excellent experience in estimation, tendering and contracting
• Solid understanding of the oil & gas field services industry
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
