Job description / Role
Our client, one of the most exclusive Hotels in the MENA region is looking for an experienced HR Generalist from a Hospitality background to join them as Assistant HR Director.
The role of Assistant HR Director claims a great amount of responsibility including the following points:
- Overseeing and directing the key specialist functions of the HR team including, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits and local regulations
- Identifying key team members for development
- Management of employee relations, disciplinary procedures, grievances etc.
- Contribute to HR policy development and departmental continuous improvement
- Respond to complex queries from managers
- Support the HRD in the implementation of HR strategy company wide
- Supporting managers to create a positive and productive work environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Regional experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- A proactive individual with strong communication and experience communicating with line managers
- Strong employee relations skills
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Experience in key HR functions including, recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits
