Job description / Role
Assistant HR Manager - Leading FMCG - Abu Dhabi
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- working closely with various departments, in an advisory role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
- liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as performance management, appraisals, development, recruitment, C&B
- coordinates the recruitment process with the business
- overseeing the PRO activities
- ensure that visa transfer process will be conducted in a timely manner
- implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management
- advising the business on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
- prepare input for payroll (e.g. changes in C&B) and maintaining employee records
- interpreting and advising on local labor law
- dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
- developing with line managers HR planning which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
- planning, and sometimes delivering, training/instruction, including inductions for new staff
- identifying training needs in conjunction with departmental manager
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including salaries, benefits, and training, grievances, and performance evaluations, leaves of absence and employee personal records.
- Compile and prepare various reports
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Experience
Knowledge:
- UAE Laws relating to recruitment, visa processing and grievance cases.
- Preferably knowledge of Elite hospitality industry and norms
