The Role


The Role


Duties & Responsibilities:

- Support the Legal Counsel in provision of strategic legal support to all organizational units and support the business objectives directly through expert advice on all legal matters.
- Advise the Legal Counsel on new legal developments and issues (as applicable) which may impact the business by undertaking relevant legal research and studies.
- Participate in contract management including drafting and reviewing of legal documents/ contracts under guidance of the Legal Counsel; review, prepare, represent and handle legal disputes.
- Oversee all legal phases of contracts in order to ensure their adequacy and alignment with the businesses best interest.

Position Requirements & Competencies:

- Law degree from a recognized law school.
- 4-5 years of legal experience involving commercial, litigation, contracts compliance affairs.
- Knowledge of local, regional and international laws and regulations – including Commercial and business laws.
- Industry experience would be an added advantage.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Strong understanding of the legal, compliance and the implementation of its tools.
- Advanced knowledge of legal theories, principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent contracts management skills.
- Analytical skills.
