The RoleThe RoleA prestigious Master planners with developments at operational and pre-construction phase, offering mixed use facilities within the commercial and residential sector are seeking a Technical Assistant to the Head of Facilities Management. One would manage various assets, be responsible for hand over, and interact between clients and various in-house divisions. One would monitor the level of service daily, ensure all SLA's with contractors are compliant, communicate with internal and external employees. Support the integration of new help desk databases, oversee Health and safety. Overseeing all technical aspects, from large generators to HVAC systems and dealing with Government bodies. This is a unique opportunity to work with senior management and gain experience within a start up team in-house. All external FM will eventually be out sourced. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe chosen candidate should be willing to work in Abu Dhabi, and to work on site and in the office, dealing with various levels of employees. One should possess strong communication skills and a passion for service delivery. Able to build relationships with external bodies and complaints in a professional manner. One must possess a strong Mechanical, Electrical background and the ability to oversee technical issues. Bachelor's Degree essential, Masters preferable with at least 10 years working in a similar environment, preferably with a large scale Real Estate company or local entity. Experience in the Marine engineering sector would be an advantage, however commercial experience in FM is required. One must be based in the UAE, fluency in Arabic preferable. |
