Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading business group in Saudi. They work in Project Development, Application Management, Investment and Acquisition.

They are currently looking to recruit a Assistant Manager - HR to be based in Dammam / Bahrain

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver HR services across the ARH group with particular responsibility for Dammam, Bahrain and Geneva Office HR.
- Maintain and update Job Descriptions in English for every position. (Native Arabic speakers to have their JD in Arabic/English.)
- Develop, manage and implement all HR processes and procedures in line with legislation and business requirements, and ensure company policies are adhered to.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and comply with local Labour Laws.
- Liaise with company Lawyers as and when required.
- Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies
- Maintain and implement company/group HR policies, grading & salary scale, bonus plan, recruitment, training & development, appraisal.
- Streamline and optimize systems within HR department.
- Develop and implement use of HR software system (MENA) across the group; ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist the Senior Manager - HR with employee relations: managing absence, disciplinary matters, grievances, sickness etc. across the Group.
- Assist with performance management & employee appraisals, coaching line managers on performance management issues and processes.
- Assist with building and maintaining an efficient HR team, providing the necessary tools and information in order for them to carry out their roles effectively (e.g. ongoing training on MENA HR software).
- Responsible for the updating of MenaHR software across the Group including payroll.
- Responsible for implementation and follow-up of compensation and benefits actions.
- Prepare management reports from MENA HR data as and when required.
- Liaise with Bahrain Ministries and LMRA re work permits, residency visas, commercial registration, etc. and maintain relationships with company approved Document Clearing Agents.
- Monitor and support day-to-day HR activities, with regular briefs and meetings to ensure appropriate advice and support is given.
- Ensure HR team meets the needs of all business units where required.
- Act as an employee champion. Plan and execute activities in the areas of employee engagement: social, welfare, wellness, health and safety, company CSR initiatives.

Requirements

- Educated to Bachelors Degree level preferably in Business, Human Resource Management or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Business Development, Administration and/or Human Resources
- Good knowledge of the Bahrain & KSA Labour Laws
- Good knowledge of MENA HR software system including Payroll
- Experience of working at a strategic level would be advantageous
