The Role


Assistant Manager required for a big 4 consulting firm based in Dubai, UAE. The role requires an experienced individual with around 5 – 7 years of professional experience in the Enterprise Architecture domain. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (ie Togaf or Zachman). Previous experience in Software Development Methodologies like Scrum, Agile or Waterfall is also highly desirable. The role requires strong experience in Business Process Re-engineering, BPM, Business Modelling and Business Architecture. Candidates with experience in the Energy and Public sector are highly desirable. The role requires an excellent communicator both in English and Arabic. Previous experience in a Consultancy / Advisory capacity is highly desirable. The role will involve communicating and advising senior stakeholders, managing and mentoring multiple vendors and managing expectations for multiple parties. The role is Dubai based with minimal travel likely for the initial 1 – 2 years. Certification in PMP and Togaf 9 Practitioner would be extremely beneficial. This is a client facing position requiring candidates whom have the ability to consult, engage and persuade clientele.

Education/Accreditation:
• Preferably to Masters of Business Administration level desirable but not mandatory
• ITIL v3 certified is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma LSS (preferably black belt status)

Skills and experience in delivering:
• Stakeholder management – goal setting, agreement of deliverables and management of stakeholder expectations
• Building requirements - stakeholder interviewing and workshops with a view to producing business specifications
• Modeling – Business Process Modeling and simulation of process flows and Functional modeling (Use cases)
• Specification – writing functional and non functional specifications to be used by technical architects in development of new systems
• Test – initiate the preparation and coordinating of testing including UAT and regression testing
• Conducting functional requirement reviews
• Public Sector – any Government transformational projects (e.g. Website convergence of transactions, content and tools)

Methodologies and technical skills typically can include the use of any of the following:
• Unified Modeling Language (UML),
• RUP (IBM Rationale Unified Processing)
• Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) ,
• Oracle BEA BPM or IBM BPM Suite (not limited to these manufacturers)
• Any combination including Lean Sigma / BPM (especially preferable with SOA)
