Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Business
- Perform Sales function to achieve and exceed KPI/Revenue targets.
- Ensure an optimum yield from event through planned and focused sales.
- Manage timely execution of events and related follow up.
- To continuously research current market trends and recommend sales strategy
- Operates within established level of administrative responsibility and authority.
- Ensure implementation of operational policies, procedure and systems.

Financial
- To keep outstanding payments to minimum levels.
- To provide line manager with feedback on market scenario and competitive analysis, on continuous basis.
- Apply cost reduction measures within own area of operational activity, without compromising on quality.
- Produce sales related financial report.

Customer
- Maintain a warm, professional and regular relationship with tenants/guests/customers/exhibitors to ensure high standard of service.
- Documents and analyze suggestions/complaints to relevant section heads and ensure they are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
- Maintains effective communication on the activities of the Department with other operating departments within Dubai World Trade Centre in order to provide best possible service to guests.

People
- Manage, train and guide team member to optimize performance and productivity.
- Displays a fair and unbiased approach towards team members.
- Evaluate performance of team and established personal development programme.

Accountabilities
- Follow the DWTC Policies & Procedures
- Continually seek opportunities to develop self and applicable subordinates.
- Perform duties in line with the Quality standards, and applicable Legislation.
- As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations.

Requirements

- Degree from reputable institution or Diploma in Hotel Management/Sales
- Professional Selling Skills
- Customer Focus
- 2-3 years experience in Sales / Customer Service preferable in Hospitality industry.

Special/Additional Qualifications:
- Intermediate Computer Knowledge
- Excellent English
- Strong interpersonal skills
