Assistant Manager - Structured Contracts (Al Khaleej Sugar Company)

Job description / Role

- Assists the Head of Department in coordinating raw and white sugar procurement, and related functions.
- Assists the Head of Department in analyzing raw and white sugar procurement requirements based on interpretation and assessment of the company's policies, practices and experience.
- Assists the Head of Department in reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and preparing raw and white sugar procurement contracts, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions are included to protect the interests of the company.

Requirements

- University degree in any discipline. Must have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in related field (commodities like sugar, coffee, cocoa, edible oils, grains, etc.)
- Knowledge of contracting process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
- Ability to work as a team, and to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
