Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
- Analyze, develop, implement and monitor the marketing plans and opportunities in accordance to the organizational strategy and within the guidelines of the approved budget.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to formulate marketing plans, drive and measure these programs with the objective to increase market share, numeric and weighted distribution.
- Expand and enhance marketing relationships at customer level and act as the point of contact for customer marketing to ensure satisfaction.
- Support sales team in effective execution and implementation of a campaign, branding and promotional activities.

Major Accountabilities:
- Work closely with CMM & Sales to drive campaigns and promotion execution (end to end).
- Measure performance of various marketing programs with market/channel partners in a systematic and structured manner and report progress and achievement against campaign goals and ROI objectives.
- Take full ownership of marketing budget and present a monthly calendar (budgeted).
- Suggest to the Marketing Manager, after collaboration with CMM, specific market/channel marketing plans to achieve strategic brand/pack objectives.
- Closely interact with customers to expand and enhance marketing relationships with them.
- Plan and agree on monthly promotional calendar to drive volume and market share growth in all retail channels.
- Review and evaluate volume estimates for all promotional activities for marketing and supply chain planning
- Monitor competitive activities and make recommendations to the Marketing Manager for risk mitigating activities.
- Regularly visit market to evaluate market conditions and identify problem areas and opportunities
- Evaluate current product-mix and make recommendations for SKU rationalization
- Monitor merchandising and branding at retail and conduct a pre and post launch analysis to evaluate improvement
- Follow up on consumer promotions to ensure that on-the-ground implementation is flawless
- Analyze research data (retail audit) and internal sales in order to translate the findings into actionable market/channel strategies
- Liaise very closely with CMM & Sales Managers to ensure smooth communication and flow of information.

Requirements

- University Degree (or equivalent)
- Fluent in MS Office
- 5 years previous experience in sales and/or commercial marketing within a well-reputed FMCG environment whereby he/she would have acquired exposure to dealing with sales teams, customers as well as launching new products and managing marketing funds.
- Position based in Oman.
