The RoleThe RoleThe Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising and controlling the activities of the Waiters, Head Waiters, Runners and Counters Sales. He/she participates in achieving outstanding service and guests satisfaction. .Serves customers, takes orders, greets guests and relays to the kitchen and bar staff or to the waiters. Leads by example and helps the team to achieve the set goals and targets and motivates them by always acknowledging good work. Implements hygiene and cleanliness procedures and policies. Sets up staff work schedules, monitors staff performance at all times and provides full training to new employees. Oversees the preparation and presentation of high quality food items by strictly following the standards and preparation techniques of the brands Products bible. Solves customers complaints and ensures health and safety regulations are followed at all times in the restaurant. Controls F&B cost on daily basis and overviews the set targets and budgets of the restaurants operation with the Restaurant Manager. Controls inventory, monitors revenues and modifies procedures and prices. .* Bachelors degree or equivalent in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management. * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in F&B operations, out of which 1-2 years in a managerial role. * Strong people and time management skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Creative thinking, planning and organizing skills. * Fluent in English.
