Job description / Role
My client, a strong international insurance company in the GCC is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join their claims department in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the claims department and must have at least 5 years of experience in reinsurance claims.
Responsibilities:
• Identify conflicts of interest and act to mitigate.
• Enhance relationships both internally and externally.
• Apply risk management techniques to standard and non-standard risks.
• Actively revise and edit reports in order to maintain concise documents.
• Assist the manager in making sure the claims department runs smoothly.
• Analyze data and reach conclusions as well as review team member’s analysis in order to make recommendations.
Requirements
• 5 years of claims experience in the GCC, though reinsurance claims experience is a must.
• Must have sound Energy knowledge, preferably with an Engineering background.
• Knowledge of European languages will be an advantage.
