The Role


The Role


The Assistant Marketing Manager contributes to the overall brand development, performance, and coordination for all vehicle brands in her/his portfolio.

1. Assists in developing brand strategies and plans
2. May develop brand strategy and plan for non-core models, at discretion of Marketing Manager
3. Assist Advertising Manager (AM) in the development and execution of consumer engagement plans
4. Organizes and leverages marketing information to develop unique competitive advantages for the brand
5. Mobilizes centers of expertise to execute the plan
6. plays a role in linking the segment marketing team to the field – solicits field input and provides brand plan direction, morning meeting presentations, sales aids
7. Interfaces with the Global teams to obtain information as required
8. Supports processes related to model year changes (pricing & VOGs)
9. Maintains the Book of <Brand>, ensuring updates are made in a timely fashion, and shared with the appropriate parties
10. Supports research activities that contribute to the development of effective brand communication strategies and execution
11. Carryout special assignments as directed

Requirements


1. Marketing experience 3-5 years.
2. Marketing Degree background with Bachelor's degree (required) MBA (Optional).
3. Multinational company experience.
4. Automotive experience(not critical).
5. Advertising and sales knowledge; overall understanding of the region.
6. Analytical skills; multi-tasker; negotiating skills; proficiency with common computer applications.

GM has 2 facilities here in Middle East one is in Dubai World Trade Centre and the other, Middle East Distribution Corporation, which is located in Jebel Ali.
