Our Dubai location positions us in a still growing market at the hub of business in the northern hemisphere with a client base operating in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the Sub Continent and Asia. Our offerings include every aspect of communications, advertising and marketing in traditional and new media formats.

We are looking for an Assistant Media Planner to support with traditional & digital media planning and reporting campaigns' efficiencies.

Responsibilities include:

* Support in media planning issues.
* Develop media plans in line with media strategy.
* Coordinate with buyers and ensure media plans are executed as approved.
* Update and present relevant media scenes and issues research summaries with the release of new syndicated media research.
* Maintain contact and cordial relations with concerned media representatives.
* Creative problem solving skills are crucial for this job.

Requirements

Candidates who wish to apply and who will be considered need to have the following:

* Minimum 1-2 years industry experience and at least 2 years in operations gained within a UAE based reputed media buying unit (MBU) or ad agency covering all aspects of media planning (TV, print, radio, cinema & outdoor) - Digital is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and number crunching skills.
* Capacity to think in media planning terms.
* Ability to take media briefs and translate them into scientifically thought through communication solutions and executable creative media ideas.
* Eye for detail with ability for identifying ideal media opportunities relevant to clients.
* Excellent knowledge of the UAE and Middle East media scenes.
* Proficient skills in Visual Dolphin, Statex, X-plan, Z-plan, TGI and the MS Office suite.
* Excellent command of business English (Spoken and written). Arabic a plus
