Employment: Full Time

As the Assistant Procurement Manager you will hold a critical role in supporting the team in leading day-day operation and special projects.

Your responsibilities will be varied in nature, offering variety and opportunity to further develop your skills in this role.

You will support the team in;

• Supervising procurement, expeditors, and logistics activities
• Managing client Purchase Orders and preparing orders to suppliers
• Tracking orders with the suppliers and ensuring prompt delivery and high levels of service.
• Coordinating with suppliers and clients for smooth arrangements of orders and deliveries
• Negotiating with suppliers on best costs, delivery logistics and terms of business.
• Sourcing and engaging sub-contractors for various project requirements
• Updating procurement procedure and optimizing it for better output and lower cost/risks factors
• Monitoring stock levels in re-order them to maintain adequate stock
• Issuing monthly and annual reports
• Establishing excellent working relationships with suppliers to ensure a beneficial partnership.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience within the GCC.

Hospitality experience is not essential, however it is desirable.

An ambitious, committed and personable individual will work well in this position, as will an individual that has the desire to grow and develop with each challenge.
