Assistant Procurement Manager

Morgan McKinley is currently working with a Food & Beverage company that manufactures and markets an integrated range of consumer products. They are seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager in Dubai with strong Indirect Procurement experience and Engineering background.

Role

The Assistant Manager will report to the Head of Procurement and must have a proven track record with Indirect Procurement and capital expenditures (CAPEX). Candidate will have experience handling the procurement of plant machinery and capital goods. Duties will include stakeholder management and MRO operations with experience in developing, implementing and simplifying the procurement process.

Requirements

Essential

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least 6 - 7 years of Procurement experience with 3 - 4 years of Indirect Procurement exposure
• Stakeholder management; Strong ability to communicate to influence key stakeholders

Skills

• Supervision of personnel, including defining tasks, making work assignments, and evaluating performance
• Excellent negotiation and strategic sourcing skills
• Process orientated and a team player
• Excellent communication skills
