Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading industrial trading company here in the Middle East, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team here in Dubai.

Responsible for overseeing the whole Procurement function for the business the Assistant Procurement Manager will play a key role in all purchasing for the company.

Job Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Oversee and manage the procurement department for the business in line with the manager.
- Purchase all equipment, goods and services for the company at the best prices.
- Review purchase requisitions.
- Source new vendors.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders whilst negotiating the best prices, delivery and credit terms.
- Evaluates inventory levels
- Product development and enhancement wherever suitable
- Assist in evaluation of new vendors

Requirements

- Excellent time management skills
- Leadership and management experience
- Financial acumen
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a related industry
- University degree
- Excellent IT/PC skills
