The Role


The Role

Salary - Up to 11,000 AED/Month

As an Assistant Production Manager you will drive the production operation forward on a day-to-day basis with particular attention being paid to achieving the agreed food quality and safety targets. You will be responsible for the general completion of daily orders and all teams from goods in through to dispatch.

Other responsibilities will include:

Forecasting weekly usages for certain raw materials
Organising daily sequence of production runs whilst coordinating daily issues
Working to tight key performance indicators (KPI's) which measure production efficiency, quality and food standards
Involvement in new product development (NPD) trials and new product launches
Organising weekly staff rotas with supervisors
Monitoring and controlling staff absence and timekeeping

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have previous food manufacturing experience with knowledge of product assembly throughout the process. You will be 'a hands on' manager with the ability to influence and lead your team, building great relationships with all members of the production team.
