Job description / Role
URS is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Graduate Maritime Engineer to be based in our established Bahrain office. We are a world leader in the provision of planning and design services for Maritime developments. Our international reputation for providing high-quality professional services, well-managed to programme and budget, derives from our strong record of experience in all aspects of port and harbour consultancy. Our global team of some 300+ maritime specialists have the technical skills and experience to address any form of maritime project.
As a Graduate Maritime Engineer in Bahrain, you will take a role in delivering maritime projects, being responsible for:
• Supporting the technical aspects of maritime & port projects;
• Working with clients to define their requirements and discuss progress;
• Working with other engineers in infrastructure, geotechnical, civil and structural design;
• Working with our Site based staff to deliver construction projects
Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold a minimum BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent, with a maritime specialism being a distinct advantage. You will have experience in civil and structural engineering design and construction, ideally with experience or interest in maritime engineering design. You will be an enthusiastic team player who is a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
