The RoleThe RoleEvaluate and cross verify the accuracy of the technical specifications & the cost of the materials. Evaluate vendors and evaluates their products standards and their capability as suppliers in coordination with engineering. Serve as a lead negotiator for technical products on projects/enquiries which involves sourcing. Organise, update and retain product information files and purchase order records. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease costs and lead times time, streamline towards efficient and seamless service. Interact with vendors, buyers and inter–departmental customers. Responsible for keeping abreast of changes in procurement trends. Develop and maintain extensive supplier database. Streamline vendor data base. Inspect invoices and troubleshoot with suppliers towards wrong payments, credits, payment terms and duplicate billings. A purchase professional to handle Saudi/ Bahrain/ Qatar procurement activities. |
RequirementsRequirementsGraduate calibre with experience in Purchase/Procurement of technical products. Experience in hydraulic procurement like pumps, motors, valves etc . Overall functional knowledge of warehousing and logistics. |
