Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Core Purpose of Job:

The Assistant Recruitment Manager [ARM] will manage one or more Divisions, as assigned by the Group Recruitment Manager. He will be responsible for overseas recruitment or local recruitment. To manage, control and administer the overseas or local recruitment and selection activities in order to attract the right candidate that meets business requirements, by effective manpower planning, effective communication and coordination with internal & external customers. Additionally developing HR recruitment & selection process.

Areas of Responsibility (AOR)

1. Communicate effectively to overseas or local recruitment agencies for manpower supply.

2. Assess recruitment agencies’ performance to ensure quality of services and that they meet company standards.

3. Develop recruitment and selection techniques and tools for better selection.

4. Ensure the compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures in the area of recruitment and selection to meet standards of quality performance.

5. Update HR reports in the area of recruitment to ensure follow up on processes.

6. Ensure proper training for staff within the section to meet job requirement and effective performance.

7. Review recruitment process and liaise with the Divisions on progress, assisting with employees’ complaints and discipline process to cater the needs of new candidates and ensure the best practices happening in recruitment.

8. Reporting to Group Recruitment Manager for all the development, changes and update that occur in Overseas or Local Recruitment.

9. Ensure that all Recruitment Trips either overseas or locally are being well planned/conducted.

10. To ensure Al Marai’s job advertisements are fully justified , address the need and layout quality and the response are being analysed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Essential
Qualified University Graduate
Computer literate
Saudi National

Desirable
Qualification in HR function or CIPD or similar..

Experience:
Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
Working experience not less than 5 years in HR function

Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description).

A minimum of 3 years experience in recruiting expatriates from overseas or local Saudi candidates, utilising a computerized office environment dealing with database management and spreadsheets,

Fluency in Arabic for Local Recruitment and/ or English for Overseas Recruitment activities.
