The RoleThe RoleAs part of our regional growth plans, we are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer Responsibilities: Responsible for review and approval of shop drawings Responsible for investigation of road pavement stresses and preparing proposed road maintenance reports Inspection of road works in progress Ensuring compliance with specifications and contract drawings Liaison with contractor Witnessing of testing and verification of road systems commissioning Responsibility for maintenance of quality standards in road works executed by contractor Prepare progress reports and minutes of meetings |
RequirementsRequirementsTechnical Competencies Essential Degree qualified – minimum requirement of BE (Civil) Minimum of 10 years industry experience The successful candidate must be Arabic speaking Understanding of British, American and International design standards Good communication skills in written and spoken English essential Desirable Reasonable knowledge of AutoCAD, and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Behavioural Competencies Essential Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is essential Good team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues |
