Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The overall objective of this job is to be responsible for implementation and monitoring of IMS, distribution, visibility objectives
1) To achieve sales targets by directing, coaching and controlling the activities of the sales team (company & Distributor) to ensure maximum brand exposure and yield from Trade Promotion Budget.
2) Be the Brand Champion with the Distributors in Jordan and Lebanon
3) Directing & Motivating distributor teams in achieving Company goals
4) Plan for direct coverage of retail outlets through the use of Distributor sales team.
5) Be an effective link between various functions of Distributor HO & Branches
6) Implement all market activation activities in order to achieve impact at point of purchase.
7) Monitor Trade spend activities with distributors various departments
8) Ensure effective stock management with the distributor as per the agreed forecast and month cover

Key Accountabilities:
1) Manage the merchandising force within the location
2) Plan, implement & monitor progress of NPDs
3) Implement the agreed trade marketing plan trade promotions, merchandising objectives as per planograms.
4) Obtain the most cost-effective use of shelf space in all key accounts, in conjunction with Key Account Managers, and create a win win relationship and partnership.
5) Monitor performance versus objectives of Top accounts & SKUs& ensure corrective action is initiated where necessary
6) Motivate Sales personnel of Distributors

Essential knowledge:
1) Graduate
2) A high degree of familiarity and practice of IT skills related to use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, MS Excel
3) A strong command over oral and written Business English with an ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively

Business Skills:
Good negotiation skills, Teamwork, communication skills, financial awareness, Planning and organizing

Experience Required :
1) Work experience of 2-4 plus years in Supervisory level
2) Prior work experience in an FMCG environment, Knowledge of Jordan/ Lebanon FMCG market will be preferred

The job requires the candidate to be based in Jordan with mobility to travel to Lebanon
