Job description / Role
Sales Team Management
Expand the market for the Citibank Retail Asset products through a team of Direct Sales Executives.
To ensure team performance meets desired objectives and goals set by Management.
Will be responsible for meeting/ exceeding sales budget
Build customer advocacy through managing best in class sales process in terms of customer communication and service
Will work towards building a sales culture which becomes a benchmark in terms of meritocracy, diversity and adherence to Citi policies
Perform leadership role and work with the Sales Executives to deliver team targets as agreed with the Sales Manager
Work with the Sales Executives on coaching needs
Personally visit key clients/ prospects along with the Sales Executives & champion listing process of new companies as a Target Market Listing to facilitate sales process
Work closely with Sales Support and CIU for smooth functioning/ flow of applications and processes
Will keep an eye on the competition and provide timely feedback to key stakeholders/ decision markers
Identifies and grooms high potential sales people for manager roles
Sales Control and Governance Management
As a part of daily sales huddles with Sales Executives update & reinforce credit policies, product proposition, criteria, Citi policies etc.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Development Value:

Requirements
Knowledge/Experience:
Preferably with 4-5 years experience in managing a team in a target-based environment
Managed sales teams of more than 10 staff
Skills:
Possess good business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and is excellent at written/spoken communications
Track record of outstanding individual sales performance and/or overall business performance
Strong leader, entrepreneurial, driven and passionate for sales
Bilingual Preferred
Education:
Banking/Finance/Accounting
