Reporting Relationships:Sales Planning Manager

Role Purpose:
The Assistant Sales Planning Manager will join as a support function to Sales planning Manager by providing analysis, reports and recommendations on Toyota sales strategies and developing sales forecasts. Develop, implement and communicate sales programs to front line that effectively motivate behaviour towards new vehicle sales targets

Key Activities
Support:

* Collect & analyse economic indicators of the region & UAE
* Forecast automobile market based on the trends and future indications
* Communicate with the principal company on their sales planning needs
* Plan sales by segment, models, channels & showrooms using current trends and statistical techniques
* Create input for Nenkei, Budget and other short & long term plans
* Create early warning signals for the variances, monitor, analyse, and recommend actions to correct the variances
* Generate monthly sales plan analysis reports to all stakeholders with meaningful graphs & executive summary
* Create SOPs for all processes

Communication:

* AFM Internal Departments:
* Work closely with Ordering, Product, Pricing, Sales incentive and Distribution departments on Sales Planning by month, by model and by variant level.

Management:

* Report Sales Trend and Market performance
* Update competitor activities
* Recommend Sales Plan by Month, By Model and By Variant

Innovation:

* Through continuous sales/stock monitoring and market trends advice on sales strategy

Requirements

Knowledge:

* Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Sales and Marketing:

* Understanding of sales planning procedures and AFM's current processes

English Language:

* General language understanding & writing

Education:

* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.

Certifications:

* High Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Experience:

* 4-6 years' work experience in analytical role. Experienced in statistical techniques for forecasting an added advantage.
