The RoleThe RoleOur Client in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for numerous Business Development Associates to build there portfolio of clients. Job Purpose: • Pursue sales and leasing opportunities with potential tenants and sign deals that meet the agreed upon development plans • Update and report on progress to Business Development Department Manager • Bring business to the company as well as promote the company to corporate individuals. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate with the Strategy and Development Division on prospecting potential clients/ partners and work closely with the Business Development Department Manager to develop client approach strategies • Agree with Business Development Associates on segmenting prospective clients/ partners, based on geography, market or strategic partnership potential identified by the Strategy and Development Division. • Coordinate with Marketing Department Manager on receiving the appropriate marketing materials and client communication approaches in line with the strategies developed by the Strategy and Development Division • Carry out client visits, introduce the development’s value proposition and work to close leasing agreements and partnership in line with the agreed upon strategies • Compile market intelligence on local market trends and needs in order to refine the approach strategies to match the requirements of the market and ensure that the marketing approach is relevant to the market and prospective clients/ partners • Maintain current clients by liaising with the Pre-Lease Client Services Associate to identify any current issues encountered by clients and follow-up with relevant internal and external stakeholders on mitigating those issues • Associates will be the foot soldiers that will go to shows, exhibits and develop leads with potential green/ renewable companies and then sell the concept of setting up a division of their organization within the company. • Meet with CEO’s on an international level and communicate/ convince them why the business is needed and how it will be profitable. |
RequirementsRequirementsJob Requirements: Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate or Property Masters Degree preferred Experience - 7+ years of relevant Real Estate Development and/ or mixed – use projects experience, preferably in sustainable/ green developments - Proven track record of sealing large scale Real Estate Development Agreements - Strong network of potential Real Estate Developers is a plus - High level sales people with either a Real Estate background or Investment Banking background and/ or have an understanding of the Clean Technology Sector - Commercially strong with an Investment/ Private Equity background - Having an experience in Green Tech will be useful - Strong commercial candidates from the UK, or regional or Investment Bankers is ideal. Competencies - Excellent sales and customer interfacing skills - Excellent communication and inter-personal skills - Strong financial acumen and ability to prioritise - Excellent planning, organisation and negotiation skills - Excellent presentation skills - Ability to conduct and lead effective meetings - Excellent oral and written English - Excellent PC skills - Must be extremely presentable, and able to identify be new opportunities. - Should be Sales driven rather than strategy driven. |
