Associate Director - Commercial & Contracts
Our client is a long established international Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy. Due to continued growth that now seeking to recruit an Associate Director to lead their Commercial and Contracts Division in Oman. This is a senior managerial appointment.
Requirements
The ideal can will possess:
* A minimum of 15 years experience gained in Quantity Surveyor / Cost Management Consultancy services.
* Much of this experience should have been gained whilst working on large scale projects in the Middle East.
* Extensive Pre & Post contract experience gained in Commercial & Contract Administration services.7
* Claim & & Contract experience - claims, contractual, dispute resolution services and handling contractual correspondence.
* Experience in the preparation of statements of claim for arbitration disruption claims, subcontractor prolongation, termination and extension of time claims, delay analysis Expert Witness, quantum assistance in arbitration proceedings as lead advisor.
Professional Qualifications Required:
* Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb)
Academic Qualifications Preferred:
* Masters degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution
* BSc in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management
Remuneration – is negotiable but will reflect the seniority of this position and it's importance within the organisation.
