Job Description

To assume responsibility for Financial Market Sales to Local Corporates in the UAE i.e. marketing and delivery of Financial Market products, profitability, business growth, team management, external interface, communication with other business units.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Achieving budgetary expectations.
* Build relationships with key decision-makers to grow business in line with and to understand customer needs.
* To strengthen the Bank's corporate customer penetration in the important areas such as foreign exchange, commodities and interest rate derivatives.
* To conduct business within the parameters fixed by the Senior Management.
* Responsible for the development of a robust and loyal core corporate customer base,
* To maintain a high standard of customer service in order to increase Bank's market share.
* To actively market and quote in Spot, Forward foreign exchange and Fixed Income to corporate clients and enhance the business turnover and profitability.
* To keep abreast of latest trends in the foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity markets and advice customers accordingly.
* To conduct forex seminars/workshops to compete effectively with our peer group Banks in the region.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

* University degree educated.
* Broad understanding of the Financial Markets business and product offering with relevant supporting work experience.
* Strong customer and service focus, willing to work under pressure.
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills, ability to communicate with all levels in an organization.
* Familiarity with SCB's Risk and Governance policies would be an added benefit.
