Associate Director / Managing Quantity Surveyor - Retail

Our client is a well known Cost and Project Management Consultancy who operate worldwide. They are part of a larger group who employ 18,000 people and 2,000 people in the Middle East.

Having secured contracts with a premier UAE developer, known for their vast retail developments, they now have a number of key appointments open. These are new build developments and at their largest are on par with the scale of well known retail developments in Dubai. One of these important recruits will be a Managing QS to oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors on a new large retail mall, or number of smaller community malls in Abu Dhabi. They also require an Associate Director level candidate who has Middle East client facing experience.

Middle East experience is not essential for the MQS role but is preferable. You must, however, be able to demonstrate experience with retail developments from inception to completion. Fit out candidates may be considered, but new build mall experience is highly preferable. You must also be from a mainly consultancy background with a loyal and solid work history.

Requirements

Degree Qualified
PQS / Consultancy experience
Middle East experience preferred but not essential
Western educated
Extensive retail project experience
At least 10 years post graduate experience in a similar role
