Job description / Role
A leading construction cost and project management Consultancy who have offices across the Middle East are recruiting for an Associate Director to lead their Quantity Surveying function in Dubai. They are currently involved in a wide range of projects including airports, commercial, residential and hotels.
You will be responsible for overseeing a number of projects with their respective Commercial Managers reporting directly to you. You in turn will report to the Director of the UAE region. Despite this being a managerial role, you will still be required to be hands on with regards to Commercial Management of projects and therefore be from a project lead QS background. This is likely to be the next step in your international career.
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Management
- Chartered and currently holding full MRICS, MCIArb or MCIOB membership
- Western educated whilst resident in country
- At least 15 years post graduate experience
- Consultancy / PQS background
- Currently Senior QS / Commercial Manager level
- Preference will be given to candidates based in the Middle East, but candidates based elsewhere may be considered.
