The Role

Associate Director (Senior Cost Management Appointment) Healthcare / Hospitals Programme

Reporting to the Programme Director on a major Healthcare Programme of works.

Responsible for leading all cost aspects of the programme through the development of the brief, design, procurement and delivery through the management of the extended team of PMCs, Sub Consultants and Contractors.

Responsible for ensuring that all project cost, commercial and contract activities comply with the clients requirements.

Plan, develop, and supervise cost functions, ensuring that all project cost activities, budgets and forecasts comply with company and client controls procedures.

Ensuring the cost performance and contracts management of Consultants, Sub Consultants and appointed Contractors.

We are seeking people that have worked for Blue Chip, Western Project Management or Construction Management organisations or the larger Healthcare Trusts or SPVs that have delivered many successful hospitals.

This is a client facing role, managing an extended Professional team consisting of Local and International, Consultants, Sub Consultants, Contractors and multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Experience

- 20+ years post-graduation experience in construction or engineering.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Experience in coordinating and managing multiple parties and stakeholders.
- Able to build, develop and integrate within teams.
- Major Healthcare or Hospitals experience is essential.

Education

- Bachelors Degree Qualification in a Construction or Engineering related profession is essential.
- Must have a minimum of 20 years Post Graduate experience.
- Chartered status or Member of a professional institution, preferred.
