Job description / Role
Our client is one of the largest professional services companies in the World and they are currently seeking a Senior Manager for their Muscat, Oman office.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for providing corporate tax advisory and compliance management services to a wide range of clients.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to apply your tax experience and further develop your technical and project management.
- Managing the delivery of tax compliance work
- Managing relationships and financial performance across a portfolio of clients
- The delivery of expert and focused tax advisory and planning work
- Collaborating with local and overseas team members, to provide a coordinated service to the client
- Assisting with business development work and giving your input to business development initiatives
- Working closely with the audit team on tax provisioning matters and identifying the potential tax exposures
- Coaching and developing junior members of staff
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a solid grounding in corporate tax compliance and tax accounting work but must also demonstrate a breadth experience across international advisory and structuring, M&A and transfer pricing.
As the ideal candidate you must be able to show experience of developing strong client relationships and the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- A commercial approach to client service, with an enthusiasm to deliver high quality and focused advice, to agreed budgets
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, either a native or second language
- Excellent project management skills, with an analytically and a continuous desire to develop professionally
- Ideally CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Big 4 experience essential
