Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the growing valuation practice of a leading international advisory firm.
The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting the Head of MENA Valuation Advisory team in growing the valuation business in MENA, overseeing and growing multi-national team. In this role you will be taking the lead for the delivery of valuation engagements, managing engagement staffing and representing the business when dealing with other business units.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing independent professional advice to boards, shareholders and management of businesses requiring shareholder value management, transactions, takeovers and/or evaluations of unsolicited takeover offers
- Determining the right price to pay or accept for a business or other asset
- Calculating the value of equity to be issued to new shareholders or partners
- Valuing private equity and unlisted investments for financial reporting and pricing purposes
- Providing valuations for accounting and reporting purposes
- Providing valuations to assist in resolving commercial disputes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant valuations expertise developed at a senior level within a well-regarded corporate finance, Big 4 or banking organisation. You will have a finance related degree and a professional accounting or CFA qualification.
As an individual you will be resilient, team oriented and possess both a strong work ethic and an excellent ability to build robust working relationships internally and externally.
