Job description / Role
My Client is currently seeking an Associate/Associate Director to join their team based in their office in Sri Lanka.
This is a client facing role where you will undertake the following:
Management of quantity surveying teams in Sri Lanka.
Authorise quantity surveying deliverables with the approval of the Regional Director of Cost Consultancy.
Manage the quantity surveying resources and team requirements.
Manage invoicing for projects on which the quantity surveying team work.
Assist the Regional Director of Cost Consultancy with updating the order book.
Supporting the Country Manager Sri Lanka with business development and operations.
Requirements
Candidates MUST have the following to be considered for this position:
Relevant degree qualification and member of a recognised professional body relevant to quantity surveying.
Significant experience of operating within a high level quantity surveying role, within Sri Lanka.
Previous experience of managing a team.
Proven record of delivering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions
Excellent motivational and leadership skills.
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail with good forward planning skills. They will possess good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision and the ability to work under pressure.
