The Role

The Role

GEOTECHNICAL ASSOCIATE

Location: Guildford

Role: A Geotechnical Associate is required to lead and manage the design work for a range of prestigious projects in our current portfolio. This is an opportunity to work on many of the large civil engineering and building projects underway in the UK, providing temporary and permanent works designs.
The role includes an element of marketing and managing a number of our clients, but more importantly the role requires the candidate to have hands-on design ability. This is an opportunity for a geotechnical engineering enthusiast! It is not a design management role.
This role would ideally suit an able Principal Engineer who is ready to step up to the Associate role as the next career move.

Attributes:
Chartered Engineer with 10 or more years experience in the UK with geotechnical and civil design organisations
a first or upper second class degree
able to confidently market geotechnical, civil and structural design services
good communication skills
the ability to direct and develop junior staff
enthusiasm for geotechnical, civil and structural design
