Job description / Role
Tier 1 UAE-based Banking organisation is currently experiencing a healthy period of growth on the back of new strategic initiatives being implemented across the business
With a healthy pipeline of deals encompassing Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Advisory, there is a need to hire an experienced and high-calibre Associate Director/Director to lead/support the execution of client mandates. The role will be allocated according to the needs of the business and candidates will be expected to work across the full spectrum of the advisory offering
Key tasks:
- Lead the execution of advisory transactions.
- Assist in managing client relationships at appropriate level of contact.
- Create bespoke financial models and lead financial structuring/engineering assignments.
- Ably assist the origination team in market research, client proposals and pitches.
Requirements
- Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking or Financial Management.
- Ideally an equally suitable postgraduate qualification from a highly regarded institution from the UK/Europe/US.
- A minimum of six years Investment banking experience from a Tier 1 International institution.
- Strong Excel based financial modelling skills.
- Sound project management skills with a focus on delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must evoke confidence and respect amongst all business stakeholders including peers, clients and subordinates as well as to superiors.
Must be comfortable in the role of a go-to-person

Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, team work and analytical skills. Strong commercial awareness and capability
Fluent in English and Arabic (advantageous)
