IT Business Office Manager

Job Purpose: Provide high level IT Business Office and Human Resources expertise to the IT department and other Company functions for delivering the necessary technology services to the business. As needed, recommend, develop and improve Companys computing and communication infrastructure to reflect the current and long-range trends in technology.

Functional Duties

1. Hiring and Onboarding
- Track and manage the MRP including creating and processing MOCs
- Process CVs and record data
- Develop an effective onboarding process for the department and track compliance
- Create the documents associated with the onboarding process such as organization chart, emergency process, etc.
- Create documents and templates for managers to onboard new employees effectively

2. Training
- Assist in determining and tracking the training needs to the organization
- Setting up training as required
- Processing associated training requirements like finding the vendor, logistics, etc.
- Assist in tracking department level competencies and training & delivery requirements
- Work with the Learning Management System (LMS)

3. Performance Management
- Tracking the setting up of goals for each organization in the IT department
- Tracking the completion of goals against accomplishments
- Setup and conduct mid-year and year-end performance evaluations
- Participate in performance management process to track department and individual performance against goals

4. Employee Development
- Assist in establishing employee career paths for the department
- Determine the experiences that employees need to progress through the career path
- Determine the training required to augment the experiences mentioned above (including both hard and soft skills)

Managerial Duties:
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by staff as assigned
2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Companys policies and procedures.
3. Motivate, coach, develop and support employees.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or any related field.
- Deep knowledge and experience in one or more areas of Hiring, Onboarding, Performance Management, and Employment Development.
