Associate School Inspectors in Private Schools in Dubai

The Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau is seeking individuals with subject expertise in Arabic, Islamic Education, Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies or Special Educational Needs to conduct inspections.

Successful candidates will undertake lead or team inspector roles, in adherence with the DSIB framework and guidelines. This will include the responsibility for high quality:
- Pre-inspection analysis
- On-site inspection
- Collection of evidence
- Written reports

The Inspections take place over the academic year from September to April.

Successful applicants are asked to commit to a number of weeks of inspection. KHDA then enter into contractual arrangements with Associate Inspectors for an agreed number of inspections. Inspectors are paid on a day rate per inspection. Transportation and accommodation are provided.

Requirements

It is essential that applicants have a degree in Education and/or in the specified subject areas. Applicants should have experience and knowledge of different curricula; for example UK, US Common Core, French or International Baccalaureate (IB). The ability to work well under pressure and to be an effective team player are desirable characteristics.

DSIB will provide training and development. We take a hand on approach from day one and you can expect regular reviews as we work with you to develop and adapt your inspection skills to the Dubai context.
