Associate Vice President - Group Strategy Up to AED 53,000 per month, plus benefits

Our client, a leading organisation in the UAE, is currently seeking an Associate Vice President, for their growing strategy team in Dubai.

The key responsibilities for this role are; to help to develop the strategic vision and aspirations as well as derive strategic imperatives for its entities/businesses, act as thought partner for respective GMs to discuss challenges and resolve dependency issues and Identify strengths and weaknesses and derive recommendations to improve BU performance. You will also Support and facilitate development of strategic plans for the Group and its entities/businesses and Support, to represent the Group in the business and financial communities through content preparation for external communication

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have strong business judgment and superior problem solving and analytical abilities, particularly in strategic business and financial analysis. Strong interpersonal and team working skills and an ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation. Must be able to build relationships and network effectively and gain broad respect throughout the organisation and entrepreneurial ability and energy to visualize, develop and execute plans. The ideal candidate must also have the ability to lead, manage, and motivate a high-caliber team and Supervisory ability and experience; effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

Educational Qualifications:

- University or Graduate degree or comparable education/training
- MBA from a leading Business School or PHD
- Ability to speak, read and write English is required, while knowledge of regional languages is of advantage.
- 5+ years in Strategy Consulting with strategy development and business building experience in the financial services industry or equivalent experience in strategy/business development roles in the Financial Service Industry
- Experience across a wide range of areas, e.g. Retail, Wholesale, Treasury, Asset Management and Brokerage
- Involvement in M&A transactions and integration experience is an advantage
