Asst. Manager Crew Recruitment and Mobilisation
To source competent and qualified sea staff for all Marine division vessels using the most cost effective recruitment methods and maintaining an up to date database of available candidates.
Ensuring compliance with safe manning, flag and industry legislation, and Company QHSE policies.
The employee is responsible to conduct regular meetings with the operations and crewing team and ensure STCW regulations and flag requirements are followed for mobilization of crew.
To ensure all documentation/ references/ certificates relating to the sea staff / Crew are filed as per the companys QA procedures and are kept up to date.
Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management / Crew Management or any other related field
6 to 8 yrs. experience in an Offshore Support vessels industry - mandatory.
Must have working knowledge of STCW 95 and flag state regulations, as well as industry requirements.
Must be experienced in recruiting for offshore personnel within the marine industry
Very organized, able to multi task, willing to work flexible hours,
Can cope well under pressure, good attention to detail.
Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written Communication skills in English
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Willingness to travel on occasion.
Negotiation and Interviewing skills
Above average communication skills
Should be eager to learn and be open to feedback
