Job description / Role
Our client, a diversified group company, has an immediate requirement for an Audit Manager to join their team in the Dubai office.
The purpose of the role is to audit internal controls and financial processes, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with international standards, Sarbanes Oxley and IFRS.
Performing financial audits for projects and company business units.
Planning, executing and completing audit fieldwork.
Recommending internal control improvements and operational enhancements.
Preparing audit reports and presenting detailed findings to Senior Management and Board.
Establish relationships with business and department heads, gain clear understanding of the function and operations of every department.
Ensure that auditing projects are completed within the given timeframe and pre-determined parameters.
Manage stringent and timely financial reporting.
Oversee compliance with IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley.
Requirements
Professional Accounting/Finance Qualification
Experience in the Big 4 or large holding companies
Minimum of 6 years in an auditing role
Consistent track record is essential
Experience with property and real estate clients would be preferred.
