Audit Manager - HR Shared Services - Al-Futtaim - Muscat, Oman

As part of the audit team you will be responsible for managing the internal audit activity of assigned business segment in order to examine and evaluate all business activities in respect of reliability and integrity of information, safeguarding of assets, economical and efficient use of resources, accomplishment of established objectives and compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations.

Development of annual audit plan, preparation of audit program, supervision and documentation of audit work, follow up on the implementation of audit findings are also key responsibilities of the role. You should be comfortable with conducting fraud investigation, if required, in order to identify the loss/exposure, control weaknesses, personnel responsible and recommendation to prevent re-occurrence. You will be based in our Muscat office and will have 2 direct reports.

Requirements

To apply for this role you should be a Chartered Accountant or hold a CPA or MBA in Finance with 8 - 10 years of Operational and Functional audit experience, preferably in an Automotive background.

The position requires strong analytical skills, high degree of tact, self-reliance, technical and management skills. Excellent oral and written communication, familiarity with computerised financial and operational systems, high level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and objectivity will help you to succeed in this role.
