The RoleThe RoleIndependent supervision of team members and delegating the work and responsibilities appropriately based on experience, capability and balancing multiple tasks and efficient use of available resources and support tools. • Performed risk assessments for planning and developing audit strategies in response to clients’ business risks and financial risks, preparation of SWOT analysis and testing of key controls over the clients’ business and accounting processes. • Executing audit procedures (including analytical review procedures) in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Local laws. • Assisted clients in valuing the investments in accordance with IFRS. • Assessed the adequacy of internal controls of company’s accounting applications and identified weaknesses and suggested improvements. • Carrying out consolidation exercise for clients’ and preparing consolidated financial statements along with the disclosures in accordance with IFRS |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in the Auditing field. Have extensive experience in the following: - Plan, organize and carry out the internal audit function including the preparation of audit plans which fulfils the responsibility of the department. - Carry out financial and operational audit after assessing the risk factors on each area under audit. - Make recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed, report on the findings and recommendations and monitor management's response and implementation. - Review internal controls procedures and provide the management with an opinion and suggestions on the internal controls in the company - Evaluate accounting systems to determine their efficiency and effectiveness - Develop recommendations for areas of improvement, write reports documenting findings, and follow up on recommendations to ensure suggestions are implemented. |
