AUDIT MANAGER - Jeddah & Al-Khobar (KSA)

Our Client

Positioned in Saudi Arabia our leading client is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior to join their expanding team.

Location

The kingdom, which has a population of 24.5 million, including nearly 7 million foreigners is booming. Monetarily speaking, the Saudi Riyal is one of the most stable currencies in the world, and offers great competitive advantages in the region. There has been no significant change in its exchange value during the last 3 decades There are no restrictions on foreign currency exchange and outgoing money transfers. Inflation rates in Saudi Arabia are very low and the Kingdom is endeavouring to sign bilateral agreements with an increasing number of countries.

Responsibilities

As an Audit Manager you will be responsible for:
* Lead and manage audit teams and review work of audit teams on respective engagements
* Be responsible for the preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets and pricing, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting.
* Assume responsibility for small components of engagements and contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
* Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell ""add-on"" work to client and contribute to a positive team attitude
* Demonstrate your ability to plan and manage engagements and people along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
* Develop and motivate all audit staff and provide them with counselling and career guidance.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain international exposure to a variety of sectors with multinational firms.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

*Fully Qualified (due to work permit restriction). CPA or ACCA or equivalent are preferable
*5-7 years of experience in public accounting within a Big 4 Firm;
*Extensive knowledge of best practice reporting and International financial reporting standards.
*Experience in the financial services is essential.
*Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
